Worker Guidance — Privacy Policy
What this tool is
The Worker Guidance tool is a free educational CSR service of Epiidosis Investments L.L.C. It provides general information only — not legal advice — and creates no lawyer–client relationship. This policy explains exactly what data the tool does and does not handle.
Default mode — anonymous
- No identity collected — By default the tool does not ask for or store your name, phone, Emirates ID, passport, or any document. Please do not type personal data into the chat.
- Conversation is temporary — Your messages are held only in server memory to keep the conversation going, are never written to disk, and are automatically discarded after about 45 minutes of inactivity, when you press “Clear conversation”, or when you close the tab.
- No message text is stored — We keep anonymous aggregate counts only — which topic/category was discussed, how many steps, the chosen language, and whether the AI was called. We never store the words you typed or anything that identifies you.
- Acceptance record — When you accept the terms we log only a timestamp, the policy version, and a random session id (not linked to you).
- Your choices — Choosing your emirate is optional and is used only to tailor general information (for example, noting DIFC/ADGM free-zone differences). It is not an identifier.
If identity mode is enabled
A future, optional mode may let you voluntarily leave a first name and phone number so an Epiidosis welfare volunteer can follow up. This mode is off by default and will only be enabled after documented UAE data-protection sign-off. If it is enabled and you choose to use it, then under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL):
- Separate, explicit consent — You give a separate tick (distinct from accepting these terms) before anything is stored, for the stated purpose only: volunteer follow-up about your enquiry.
- Minimal data, never Emirates ID — Only first name + phone. We never collect Emirates ID, passport, or salary details.
- Encrypted & server-side — Stored encrypted at rest on the server only — never in your browser, never in our metrics or logs.
- Automatic deletion — Kept for a limited retention window (90 days by default) and then automatically deleted.
- Delete on request — You can ask us to delete it at any time via the in-tool “delete my data” action or by contacting us.
