The Worker Guidance tool is a free educational service of the Epiidosis Social Welfare Division. It provides general information only about UAE private-sector labour topics. It is not legal advice, creates no lawyer–client relationship, and is not a substitute for MOHRE’s Labour Claims & Advisory Centre (800 84) or a licensed UAE lawyer. Responses may be incomplete or out of date — always verify with official sources.

Scope & accuracy

  • Educational scope — The tool answers general questions about UAE private-sector labour rights, safety, and official support channels. It will decline anything outside that scope and point you to MOHRE 800 84 or a lawyer.
  • No guarantees — Information is based on UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 and its amendments and may not reflect the latest changes or your specific situation. Figures in the educational preview are pending legal review.
  • No reliance — Do not act solely on this tool. For decisions, confirm with MOHRE or a licensed professional.
  • AI assistance — Some answers may be generated by an AI model constrained to a reviewed knowledge base; it does not invent legal figures and defers to MOHRE when unsure.
